Contingency Fee

Contingency Fee

What is the best way to get paid as a personal injury lawyer?

A personal injury attorney has different rules and interests to other areas of law than an attorney working on a case. In order to avoid unfair treatment of an injured person due to lack of funds to sue a tortfeasor (at fault party), the rules allow lawyers to charge a contingent fee. The lawyer will not be paid unless they are able to resolve the case for the client. For most personal injury cases, the contingency fee is 33%. The contingency fee may be increased to 40-50% if the case is brought to trial. Some firms will retain the 33% fee if it is an auto accident case and no experts are required.

JGR Law Offices is the only law firm that can handle your injury case.We will not make more than our clients.Even if we are entitled for the 33% fee. Find another law firm that will write that!

Our law firm is unique because we receive nearly three quarters of all our cases via referral. We keep people happy, and they remember us when they need legal assistance for their family and friends. We believe it is in our best interests to treat our community well. This philosophy has proven to be a success. We have to be fair with clients in an age when advertising costs can reach tens of thousand of dollars per month. Sometimes, cutting our fees might be a cost-saving move, but so far we haven’t regretted giving money to clients rather than spending it advertising.
